Even better would be to do this and do it by partition type too!
@Simon Crawford
It just really helps people who are ordering of the system who are maybe not aware of what components are needed are certain elements of the works on site , like first fix and second fix , unless your aware of the system you are not going to no what to order ….. but if it was split that you could order per components, then it would be a game changer .
Which is why 17 other people wanted to see this change also .

I had another though about this too, You know that you can mark up progress now by drawing over the partition type on the drawing. Why can we order materials by drawing over the drawing for the partitions that we want to build? If you linked this up with @Anonymous #12731 idea of tagging materials with 1st and 2nd fix you could also just draw on the drawing and in effect order all the 1st fix materials. then draw over it again to order all the 2nd fix materials. This would also allow you to do this by partition type too. So if site wanted all the materials for party walls first, you could draw on the party walls for 1st fix components and it would create the order for the head detail, metal work, 1st fix boarding etc. Seems to me to be a logical extension of the mark up progress tool.

We would like to be able to filter by component name of say 1st fix, then show all the materials in the relative quantities for that component in all the zones - then bulk add to orders those filtered results.
Also to have to ability to export the draft labour/material bills in a per component structure. E.g. split to show total the materials for the components called 'metal'
