You can do this in for new materials but opening up a new window / session within Chalkstring - then refresh the list of suppliers (by clicking cancel and add new guesstimate) where you'll see the new list which includes the new supplier. Important thing to note here is that the new supplier creation is restricted by permissions for a good reasons therefore needs to be considered.

Currently we are unable to create a new supplier once we have started to create a new quote. This means that if we have already input details for the new quote, we have to close the new material quote screen, add the supplier, and then start the new material quote from scratch and re-insert any data.
