A feature for plant where you can input the item and the start/on hire date and as each day elapses the cost of a day hire is added to the order and costs on the jobs. Then once you off hire the item you put the off hire date in and the cost of hire would stop as of that day. This would mean you'd always have a live figure of spend on plant. When you come to posting invoices against the order you wouldn't have manual adjust the duration of time the plant had been on site. You could then export the plant to form a plant sheet for each project which you could send to sites to check it matches there records on site, QSs could quickly see what is currently on site and the what it is costing the project and it could be used to check against live hire reports from suppliers. Without this we are having to run a spreadsheet to track this, and this is a feature that should be included within ChalkString. As you have entered the on and off hire date on ChalkString this will provide another quick check for when the invoices come in to ensure you haven't been charged for any period when the item was not on hire.
