Some drawings do not have a scale or a measure on to set the scale against. Can we have the ability to type in the scale to be used? e.g. 1:100 at A0

Ability to measure different zones from the same drawing

Currently if we want to use the same drawing to measure 4 different flats, we have to upload the same drawing 4 times. We would like the ability to be able to measure more than one zone from the same drawing without having to upload multiple copies.

We want to round up measures to whole numbers (rather than 2 decimal places) by default

We only really work in whole number for flooring, and dont get into decimal places for our quantities. This could be tackled in several ways, either provide us the option to takeoff the original measurements in whole numbers, or do the rounding in the bill of quantities. The concern would be doing it in the bill would lead to discrepancies between the measurement in takeoff and that showing in the bill. So it probably needs to be done at the takeoff level, so the figures are the same in both. I would suggest this is something we could set alongside the scale of the drawing. Eg You set the scale, unit of measure displaying in, and also how many decimal places the measures should round to. The default being the current 2 decimals, with an option for 1 decimal or whole numbers?

Is there a possibility of an App that our labour subbies could use to record what they are doing and submit their applications to us?

We are finding that inputting all the individual labour claims into Chalkstring every week, can be a time consuming task for someone in the office, so would like the lads to be able to input the information directly into the project themselves from their phones, and then we would just need to check and approve it in the review process. An app would mean the lads could do their own admin and save us lots of time.

Please can you advise if we can create new units of measure. For example, I would like one called “tube” or “foil sausage”. At the moment we are having to use “single item” for sealants/mastics. This is not very well defined and leaves it open to interpretation when we send out enquiries.

BREBUR Ltd - add an additional "filter by...." option for material when searching for a Product Template. Then search for a material pop up will appear. Once selected, all product templates containing the selected material will be displayed.

Allow the exporting of specific products when exporting a takeoff drawing to PDF

Currently you can only export with all measures included or all measures removed. Can we have the ability to export the selected products only. E.g. the 'ticked' products in the left hand bar appear on the export, any which have been 'unticked', do not show on the export.

Request for the ability to lock particular product templates so they can't be updated if they are used and modified on a project. These would be master templates that we don't users to accidentally overwite. If there was a way to flag a product template as a 'master' and then when that is used on a project, the option when syncing to database to 'update existing' should be greyed out.

Please can you change the request for quote layout. There is some unnecessary information on the enquiry that has caused confusion for suppliers on numerous occasions.
